POST-OP DE-BRIEF

On Thursday, U.S.N.S.T.A. Instructor Cadre conducted a SWAT Competition that scored teams on their ability to complete a building clearing scenario that included an alleged gunman.

On Friday, U.S.N.S.T.A. Instructor Cadre utilized the Xbox game Rainbow Six Vegas 2 to virtually “walk” all participants through the scenario to identify common failures and common successes. By recreating the scenarios in Rainbow Six Vegas 2, the team was able to pass on the lessons of the exercise to everyone within minutes, rather than walking each team through the actual scenario, which could easily take hours.
