WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO BUILD CAMARADERIE THROUGH RIVALRY? The point of fostering the competitive spirit is to show how little time is necessary in the virtual gaming environment to develop a rapport with teammates and establish an understanding of the fundamentals of team movements. Why is this important? It saves time and money. By getting those fundamentals out of the way prior to a live training session, the instructor can reduce the amount of in-the-flesh time needed for training without minimizing the quality or effectiveness of the training. This helps the instructor optimize training and make the most effective use of time.
