Public and private security agencies and
security specialists play an important role
in protecting people and property. In many
ways, the security professional performs
many of the same duties as sworn law
enforcement officers, but without some of
the same tools. Most security professionals
do not carry firearms or batons, leaving
them with only their verbal and physical
skills to deal with potentially aggressive
situations. In addition, many security
professionals, like those working in
casinos, are faced with increased scrutiny
because of the heavily surveillance and
populated environments in which they
operate. |

Controlled F.O.R.C.E. Training Solutions
for Security Services
Controlled F.O.R.C.E. Training Systems
understands the operational factors of
security services. Our training programs
provide the security professional improved
skills for controlling an unruly subject
quickly, safely, and effectively. Armed with
the Mechanical Advantage Control Holds™, the
security professional will know how to
successfully detain a subject until
authorities arrive, or to remove a subject
from the premises without injury. Security
professionals can further enhance their
ability to control and detain/remove
subjects by utilizing M.A.C.H. Team Arrest
Tactics to work efficiently as a team. And
since the Controlled F.O.R.C.E. Levels 1 & 2 do not teach strikes or
pain compliance techniques, all of our
training is camera-friendly.
Depending on a security agency’s size and
function, Controlled F.O.R.C.E. Training
Systems can provide a variety of solutions.
Smaller agencies may want to send an
instructor to one of our scheduled
Controlled F.O.R.C.E. Instructor
Certification Courses to become certified to
use and teach the Mechanical Advantage
Control Holds™, M.A.C.H. Takedowns and
Handcuff Positioning Techniques, and M.A.C.H.
Team Arrest Tactics.
Larger agencies should consider developing
one or more Controlled F.O.R.C.E. Master
Instructors, especially if they have
multiple locations and a large number of
instructors working a variety of shifts.
Master Instructors can function as both
on-site experts of the Controlled F.O.R.C.E.
System and as trainers of an agency’s
front-line Controlled F.O.R.C.E. Certified
Instructors. The Certified Instruction staff
can then train and certify the entire
agency's security personnel as end users in
the categories selected by the agency. |

Agencies can modify this lesson plan
depending on their needs and requirements.
For a comprehensive defensive tactics
training solution, we recommend that
security professionals become certified in
the full Controlled F.O.R.C.E. Program. Even if an agency does
not use batons or firearms, the techniques
and body movement skills that are acquired
in our baton and weapon retention categories
translate into a fuller understanding of
self-control in a hostile situation. Also,
the complete Controlled F.O.R.C.E. Program gives an
agency's training staff improved methods of
instruction so they can teach their agency's
personnel with optimum efficiency. |
