COURSE DESCRIPTIONS

Controlled F.O.R.C.E. offers Departmental Instructor Certification courses that develop the instructor’s ability to transfer maximum amounts of content in short periods of time with high rates of retention. The following standardized training courses are currently scheduled around the country. Controlled F.O.R.C.E. also offers customizable training packages and options for hosting standardized training courses at your agency.

ARREST CONTROL - Level 1: Mechanical Advantage Subject Control --- Teaches Responders how to control a non-compliant subject utilizing body positioning, movement, momentum, and joint manipulation. The system is based on five Mechanical Advantage Control Holds™ (M.A.C.H.) for highly effective, retainable arrest control options.

DEFENSIVE TACTICS - Level 2: Survival Force Reactionary Defense --- Teaches Responders how to survive a surprise attack and then transition to control tactics. The system builds upon the basic principles of body movement and positioning learned in Level 1. Includes Protection Drills, Knife Defense, Ground Defense & Escapes, and Weapon Retention & Disarms.

COMBATIVES - Level 3: Combative Counter Measures --- Teaches Responders how to survive a combative situation when confronted and attacked by a street-wise assailant or professionally trained enemy combatant. Includes M.A.C.H. 6-10 and Hand Fighting Drills for developing stamina, self-control, and a confident, persevering attitude.

ACTIVE SHOOTER RESPONSE - Level 4: F.O.R.C.E. Critical Incident Small Team Tactics --- "First Official Response in a Critical Environment" Develops small unit rapid response tactics and close quarters combat skills for transitioning through high-threat environments where the First Responder’s survival and success depends on immediate action.
