TWO U.S. MARINES ADVANCE
TRAINING
On September 22, 2006, GySgt David Smith
and SSgt Nathan Thompson from USMC SOTG II MEF earned certification as
Controlled F.O.R.C.E. Master
Instructors and the newly formed Military Master Instructor, becoming
the first service members to advance to the Master Instructor level
training.

LEE CSO (AL) HOSTING INSTRUCTOR CLASS
Lee County Sheriff's
Office in Opelika, Alabama is hosting a Controlled F.O.R.C.E. Level 1 &
2 Instructor Class on November 27-30. Interested officers should call
1-800-301-9292 for more information. In addition, Shelby County
Sheriff's Office in Columbiana, Alabama is hosting a Level 1 & 2
Instructor class on December 4-8.

DISCOUNTED ROOM RATE DEADLINE NEARS
The deadline for
receiving a Discounted Room Rate at the Rio Las Vegas for the 7th Annual
U.S.N.S.T.A. Training Conference is drawing near. Rooms must be booked
before October 28 to receive the U.S.N.S.T.A. Discount of $60 per room
per night.
The 2006
U.S.N.S.T.A. Training Conference will be held December 11-15 at the Rio

CLASS
The Detroit Police Academy has
requested Controlled F.O.R.C.E.
Tactical Training Solutions to
provide instructor services to
their Defensive Tactics Training
Team. They have also requested
that the class be open to area
law enforcement agencies. Level 1 & 2 Instructor
Training, which is MCOLES
Approved for 302 Funding,
will be offered October 9-13 in
Detroit, Mich.

 Controlled F.O.R.C.E. Master Instructor Pat Miletich will face
Renzo Gracie in an IFL Super Fight on September 23 at The Mark of the
Quad Cities. This anticipated match-up comes just months after Controlled
F.O.R.C.E. Master
Instructor and current UFC World Welterweight Champion Matt Hughes
defeated Royce Gracie at UFC 60.
Miletich
Fighting Systems (MFS) and Controlled F.O.R.C.E. teamed up in 2003
to collaborate on advanced defensive tactics and combatives training
for Law Enforcement and Military clients.

Instructor and current UFC World Welterweight Champion Matt Hughes will face Royce Gracie in UFC 60: Hughes vs.
Gracie. The fight will be held Saturday, May 27 at the Staples
Center in California.
Matt Hughes
joined the Controlled F.O.R.C.E. Team in 2003 when Mixed Martial Arts
Legend Pat Miletich and Controlled F.O.R.C.E. Directors Tony Grano and
Don Roberts began collaborating on advanced defensive tactics training
concepts and programs for Law Enforcement and Military clients.
